Ciao Bella is a typical cheap and cheerful Italian restaurant, focusing on pasta and pizza but with more substantial dishes for those who want them. It has been going for years and has friendly staff and loads of character. A white piano provides occasional but not too loud music. It is not of course quiet on a busy Saturday evening when it is packed, but there are a few tables outside and on other nights it is peaceful enough. Blown-up stills from films of the golden age of Italian cinema – especially from films by Fellini – cover the walls.
Open midday to 11.30 Monday to Saturday and Sunday until 10.30.
