My wife and I ate visited this restaurant with some friends three times, twice for meals and once just for coffee liqueurs. I also had two breakfasts.
The restaurant was music free for two nights. On the third night there was some loud music for a few minutes, but this was turned off (not at our request). There was no music at breakfast. There is a television in the bar, but this was not noticeable when I was there.
There is a good range of food.
Please note that the hotel is on the main road through the village, but also pretty close to the A947, so you can get some road noise.
If you do eat there, I would recommend a visit to the nearby Fyvie castle if you can. It’s a short drive away (and about 15 minutes walk). It’s well worth the visit, and the grounds (including the car park and garden) never close.
